A faulty top-up sensor was causing the pool to continuously top up incorrectly, with an overflow mechanism sending excess water to waste. The leak was fixed within a few days.
The loss of was 2000 litres a day.
At the excess water charge of $1.333 per KL this potentially saved $893 per year.
